JIFF November 2018

The 4th annual Johannesburg Italian Film Festival took place from Friday 16 to Sunday 18 November at Cinema Nouveau Rosebank.

The 2018 festival celebrated the films of Paolo Genovese, one of Italy’s most successful contemporary directors.

Entrance was free on a first-come first-served basis. All films were in Italian with English subtitles.

The festival launched with a gala opening, which was attended and opened by Paolo Costella, the screenwriter of Perfetti Sconosciuti.  Costella ran a workshop with AFDA students while he was in Johannesburg.
